We who know Jesus are forever grateful that He pardoned us, taking our sins on Himself and dying in our place, receiving in His own body the punishment we deserve. We are also grateful for God’s kindness and patience with us as we walk with Him as Christ followers. We sin again and again. And, again and again, He offers us grace and forgiveness. We are SO blessed to be recipients of grace.
This means the interfering mother-in-law. This means the friend who betrayed a confidence. This means the co-worker who absolutely ruined our presentation. This means a spouse who is indifferent to us—or worse.
Come hear Sharon unpack the trouble we have in giving grace and how to offer grace and forgiveness while still maintaining boundaries when needed and while always speaking truth along with the love. This is ultimately a talk about navigating difficult relationships in a manner that would honor Christ and help people find Him for their own lives as well. It’s a hard topic, but it is a necessary one if we are to live as Christ has called us to live: grateful receivers of grace who also extend it to others. COVID-19 Policy
Stay home if you are ill on the day of the tea. Seek and follow the advice of medical professionals.
Mask Policy: Bring to the tea a face covering that covers your nose and mouth.(We will also offer them) Wear it whenever you’re moving around public spaces where social distancing is difficult to maintain, such as when entering or carriage house, hallways, restrooms, and other confined areas. When you are in your tea pod(teaching time and tea you are not required to wear you mask)
While at the event, maintain safe distances and safe group densities by staying 6 feet apart. Minimize contact with others and refrain from shaking hands.
Use cough and sneeze etiquette, wash your hands frequently, and avoid touching your face.
Do not adjust our tables and chairs; they have been intentionally set for distancing.
Look for and follow event signage.
Follow the directions of event hosts. Be patient if you are asked to wait for the sake of distancing.
